About that logo...

In case you were wondering the logo at the head of the blog was from My dad's business. He had a Hardware store and a cabinetmaking business that closed in about 1960 when he finally retired. The logo was designed by a friend Pastor Peter Robinson.

A Trove search reveals a number of adverts that my dad placed for the business from the late 40s to the mid 50s. The first I found was from April 1948 and the last just before I was born on the 30th of December 1954.
